Job Description
We are looking for a full-time physical therapist to join our rehabilitation team. Eastern Plums Health
Care is a critical access rural hospital serving Plumas and Sierra Counties. Surrounded by the Sierra
Nevada Mountains with beautiful lakes and trails for hiking, biking, fishing and skiing, this rehab
department is thriving and wants a highly motivated and skilled PT to provide excellent care to our
community. This is a Full-Time position with Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Retirement, and more)
This is a multi-setting position that includes treatment of Outpatients, Skilled Nursing, and
Inpatient/Sub-acute Rehab patients. Approximately 60% of the time will be inpatient and 40% will be
outpatient. Our outpatient facility provides comprehensive care including neurologic, vestibular,
orthopedics and sports PT and hand therapy. Mentoring is available.
Wage Scale: $56 - $68/hr DOE
Job Responsibilities:
• Effectively conducts evaluation and treatment sessions according to skills and licensure
• Maintains accurate patient treatment records and current progress notes
• Submits billing via EMR for each patient treated in accordance with established policy
• Participates in staff meeting, in-services and other educational activities
• Collaborates with inter-disciplinary team for inpatient/SNF care
Requirements
• Licensed in California as a Physical Therapist
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to relate to and work well with patients, peers and supervisor
• Previous physical therapy experience in an inpatient and outpatient setting is preferred.
